"Aged Sheng 2006 brand Hong Tai Chang with number 0802, from the province of Chiang Mai. The altitude of the trees is 1500 meters above sea level.
In appearance it resembles shengs from purple bushes - very dark for its age. The tea is made from old and wild 200-300 year old trees. This is my absolute favorite among Thai shengs.
Pressing: Industrial press
Dry aroma: raisins, tree bark, spices. The raw material is beautiful, aged very well. The infusion is dark amber, absolutely transparent.
Taste: very smooth, dense, intelligent, with a beautiful raisin profile and with the addition of spicy-woody shades. Plum notes are present. The second half of the taste is densely filled with walnut. Velvety, spicy aftertaste with notes of walnut and expensive cigar remains long after the end of tea drinking.
Action: A powerful tea with a strong but gentle effect."
